The long existing Problem that we with T1DM have besides the impact that this Disease places on our Bodies/Mind/Spirit is that it is only treated as a SYMPTOM(Glucose Numbers) by Physicians rather than a Process where the symptom is only a reflection of the Illness and not the Illness itself.
It is time to treat T1DM as a Disease instead of only supplying a "Bandage"(Insulin).
